A major excursion

On a bright sunny day TU3 make their way to Dover Castle and follow the footsteps of Thomas Becket in Canterbury, while TU5 goes to Bodiam, a well-preserved castle ruin in East Sussex, and to Great Dixter. No matter whether they are going to a cathedral, gardens or a castle, everyone is well-behaved. As a reward, the students have permission to wander around by themselves. This is a good opportunity to browse through the small shops. The younger students are kept busy with the countless activities that are offered in the grounds of Benenden. In the evening the workshop show follows – the workshops for the following week are being introduced. Besides volleyball, dancing and English cooking, the teachers and activity team members offer additional workshops. There is something for everyone. The students have the option of choosing two different workshops. At the end of the course, the result of the workshops, for example a choreographed dance routine, will be showcased.
