The first workshops begin today. All the students who are not going to Rye or Canterbury gather together in the assembly hall after the morning classes and off they go to enjoy rugby, volleyball, ultimate Frisbee, flag football, slacklining, dancing or photography. There is a full programme on offer here at the Benenden summer school.

In the evening everyone is invited to attend “karaoke night” and join in by picking a song and giving it their best live on stage. Yet again we are surprised what talented voices some of our students are blessed with (Ciara and “Rolling in the Deep” !).
